We are usually on time for most things in life but somehow we have managed to arrive at the start of the social media race unfashionably late.

So many guests though have take a keen interest in our life at Les Crouquets – how we came to be here,what French life is like, what do we do in the Winter, what’s involved in running gites in rural France etc etc- that we thought it was still worth joining in and that a blog would be a good way to let our guests know what really goes on behind the scenes.

Be warned – we are not born writers and the thought of turning out tomes of text flowing with wit & style has, mentally, sent us running in the opposite direction, Amar so much so that he has quit the race and left me holding the baton! He has promised however to cheer me on at the finishing post,so to speak!

My conversations may well wander off at a tangent as they do in life, but please bear with me and no doubt they will eventually wander back again.
